Requirements for Custom Desk Pad with Your Own Design
Dear Customer,
To ensure your custom desk pad perfectly represents your design and proceeds smoothly to production, please carefully review and confirm the following requirements. We will provide an evaluation and quotation based on the files you submit.
I. Image/Design File Requirements (Most Critical)

Format: Preferred formats are .ai (Adobe Illustrator vector source files), .eps, or high-resolution .pdf. For raster images, please provide .psd (layered files), .tiff, or high-definition .jpg/.png.

Resolution: The actual print area of the image must be 300 DPI (dots per inch) or higher. Images downloaded from the web (typically 72 DPI) will appear blurry when printed and may require redesign.

Color Mode: Please set your design to CMYK color mode for printing. RGB mode (for screen display) may cause color shifts in the final product.

Bleed and Safe Zone:

Bleed: If the design is meant to cover the entire pad edge-to-edge (full bleed), please extend the design 3mm outward on all sides to prevent white edges after cutting.

Safe Zone: Keep all critical elements (text, logos, etc.) at least 5-8mm inside the design edges to avoid being trimmed off or wrapped around the side.

Clarity: All patterns, lines, and text must be sharp and clear, without pixelation or jagged edges.
II. Size and Shape Requirements

Exact Dimensions: Please provide precise Length x Width measurements (e.g., 80cm x 40cm). Please use consistent units: centimeters (cm) or millimeters (mm).

Custom Shapes: For non-rectangular (irregular) shapes, you must provide a precise vector outline file with key dimensions labeled.
III. Product Specifications & Material Selection
Please confirm your choices for the following (we will provide corresponding options and quotes):

Material: Leather, PU, Cloth, Cork, etc.

Thickness: Common options: 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, etc.

Edge Finish: Stitched edge, wrapped edge, straight cut, etc.

Printing Technique: Digital direct printing (suitable for complex patterns), Screen printing (suitable for spot colors, simple graphics), Embroidery (for logos), etc.

Functionality: Do you need a non-slip backing (silicone dots, felt, etc.)?
IV. Submission & Confirmation Process

Submit Files: Send your design files, dimensions, and process requirements to us together.

File Review: Our design/production team will review the files within 1-2 business days and provide feedback on whether they meet print requirements (e.g., resolution, bleed). Modification suggestions will be given if needed.

Confirm Proof: Once files are approved, we will create a 1:1 digital mockup/proof for your final confirmation of color, placement, and overall appearance. Production will only begin after you approve this proof to prevent errors.

Production & Shipping: After proof confirmation, the order enters production. Standard lead time is approximately 3-7 business days (excluding shipping time).
V. Important Notes

Copyright Responsibility: You must hold the legal copyright or have obtained authorization for the designs you provide. The provider bears all responsibility for any disputes arising from copyright issues.

Color Variation Note: Due to differences in monitor brands, color calibration, and printing techniques, slight color variations between the physical product and the screen image are normal and unavoidable. While we enforce strict color controls, we cannot guarantee a 100% exact match.

Sampling Service: For large-volume or high-value orders, we recommend paying for a physical sample first to confirm material, finish, and color.
